A weekend camping experience for large family groups.
Each group hires the entire site and can enjoy privacy and space around a fire pit in idyllic countryside and woodland.
Licensed with the nearly wild camping association.
Moons Wood provides the perfect escape, mainly made up of Ash trees with the river Lark running along the west side, and sixty acres of wild flower meadows thriving with wildlife along the East side.

Exclusive Hire of Moons Meadow for family camping
Camping is open from May - October 2025
Wild camping non-electric grass pitches (please call to confirm numbers).
Included in camping Package:
Picnic benches
Tables
Compost toilet
Drinking water
Fire pit
Charcoal
First aid kit
Cooking utensils
Wood (£15) and a gas BBQ (£35) are also available for your stay.
Please note there are no showers or hot water in Moons Wood but a Cabin can be booked which are situated at the house. The camping field also has no power or electricity.
All cars to be parked in the parking area, no cars allowed on the camping field unless it's very dry. Family camping is a 15 minute walk to Moons Meadow and a further 5 minute walk to Moons Wood. Trolleys will be provided and help with transporting camping gear.

Well behaved dogs welcome, Moons Wood is unable to accommodate dogs that are listed on the dangerous dogs list.
Why not take a stroll to the Dog Pub in Grundisburgh or the Turks Head in Hasketon for a fabulous lunch or evening meal both in walking distance of Moons Wood and dog friendly.
You will find a great cup of coffee at the Suffolk deli Grundisburgh or the Barn café Hasketon. The Grange Farm shop is also located here.
Head to Woodbridge or the Suffolk coast for a day of adventure.

We believe we offer an experience unlike any other Wild Camping settings in the UK. We offer the entire wood exclusively to your group however to ensure we look after the nature and our guests we do ask you to follow our terms and conditions. and cancellation policy.
